Please note that we start training at 10.30, not start turning up! We will continue to play at the "Elephant Pitches" of the British School. Please plan to get your kids down to the ground around 10.15-10.20 am. Parking is very limited near the pitches and we are close to residential areas so please use the parking areas indicated on the map below and walk up to the pitches. Please respect the neighbours at all times.
Please note that only approved training staff may park on the fields themselves, we kindly ask parents who are not involved with training to park at the Elephant Status like everyone else.
A map of the location as well as parking details can be seen by clicking on this link.
The club provides equipment for the training sessions. Children must wear shin guards and we recommend football kit and proper football boots (we advise molded soles and strongly request no metal studs) as we play on grass and it can get quite slippery. We do ask parents to provide a small bottle of water for the kids as they can get quite thirsty during the training. Please ensure that your child is suitably dressed for the weather conditions on the day.
A snack and drink are provided at the end of each session.
The training environment is one of fun and helping the children to develop football skills. Our trainers are all volunteers and generally parents of trainees. Disruptive behaviour shows a lack of respect for the other children and the trainer. Persistent offenders will be warned and if there is no improvement they will be asked to leave the club.
First of all, it is of course the responsibility of the parents (and not the trainers) to ensure that children are correctly dressed and protected for playing football in all weather conditions. It is also essential that if your child has a medical condition (asthma etc) that the club is fully aware of this. Parents must also ensure that their children are covered by standard medical insurance. Should an accident occur, the club is insured for costs above and beyond normal medical insurance.

Training is every Sunday morning from 10.30 to 12.00 starting in mid-September and running until mid-June the following year. We do take breaks around the school holidays and public holidays.
Photos
As you can imagine, the site would be a bit dull without the odd photo of our kids. Asking you permission for every child on a group photo could be difficult. However, we would like to ensure that no children are identified in photos without express permission. So, to simplify things, if anyone objects to any photo posted, please contact us via the "contact us" form, specifying the photo and if it is a group photo, we will obscure your child's face so that it is not recognisable, and if it is a close-up shot, it will be removed immediately.
